The Republic of Palau and the United States co-hosted the 7th Our Ocean Conference on April 13-14, 2022.The Conference was a key moment for countries, civil society, and industry to commit to concrete and significant actions to protect the ocean. This year’s Conference closed with 410 commitments worth $16.35 billion across the six issue areas of the conference. Since 2014, the Our Ocean Conference has now mobilized more than 1,800 commitments worth approximately $108 billion.

Commitments to deliver bold, measurable and impactful actions promoting and protecting ocean health are at the heart of Our Ocean. To date, there have been over a thousand commitments from governments, civil society and businesses in over 70 countries.
