Media accreditation
The Republic of Palau and the United States will jointly host the Our Ocean Conference 2022 in Koror, Palau on April 13-14.
All media representatives wishing to cover the Conference must apply for a media credential by no later than March 15, 2022 at 9:59 AM Eastern Time (ET) / 23:59 Koror Time (UTC +9). The Accreditation Application Form can be accessed by clicking this link.
Heads of State, ministers, and leaders from all sectors will attend and announce concrete, new commitments to protect the ocean’s health. Throughout the six previous conferences, participants have made more than 1,400 commitments worth approximately $91.4 billion and protected at least five million square miles of ocean.
To access the Conference all media will require a credential for access, regardless of existing federal or official identification. Due to capacity and COVID social-distancing limitations, some coverage opportunities (e.g. for Plenary Sessions or side events) may be pooled or limited at the determination of the Conference organizers.
Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee or constitute approval, and Conference accreditation is independent from the entry requirements necessary for travel to the Republic of Palau. Visa approval does not guarantee Conference accreditation nor vice-versa.
