The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment (MAFE) of the Republic of Palau, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), together with the non-government organization Rare, are organizing a Ministerial Dialogue dduring the Our Ocean Conference 2022. The dialogue aims to discuss, among Ministers identified, the challenges an solutions that the coastal fisheries sector are facing, respond to the recommendation of the fisher leaders, coastal mayors and the yourth; and to discuss progress on specific commitments, with emphasis on the importance of sustainable management of coastal waters, as contributions to the Our Ocean conversations. Key public donors and philanthropic organizations have also been invite to use the event as a platform to advance their own commitments.
